Cookie Policy
How cookies and similar technologies are used on this website and how you can control them.
On this page
1. Scope
This policy explains how sangathya.org uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can help a site remember your preferences, keep it secure and understand how it is used. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags.
3. Cookies we use today
The website currently uses only cookies and storage that are essential for it to function, such as security, load balancing and basic preferences. We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, profiling technologies or third-party analytics cookies.
If a form or service provider uses essential cookies for security or spam prevention, those cookies are used only to operate and protect the service.
4. If we introduce analytics
If we introduce analytics in future, we will use it only to understand aggregate site use, not to identify you personally or serve advertising. Where consent is required, we will ask for it before setting non-essential cookies and will update this policy with the provider, purpose and duration.
5. Third-party cookies
Some pages may link to or embed third-party services, such as the Sangathya journal or social media. Those services may set their own cookies when you visit them. We do not control those cookies; please review the relevant third party’s cookie and privacy policies.
6. Managing cookies
You can accept, reject or delete cookies through your browser settings. Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and other browsers. Blocking essential cookies may affect website functionality.
You can also use private browsing or tracking-protection features. These controls are provided by your browser or device, not by us.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals. Because we do not currently use non-essential tracking cookies, we do not need to respond differently, but we will review this position if our practices change.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes. The revised version will be published here with a new date.
Questions about cookies may be sent to contact@sangathya.org.
